# LLMs Technical Reviews > Source-level reviews of open-source LLM tooling: personal assistants, browser control, API connectors, AI scraping and open-source DeepWiki generators. Every project is reviewed from its source code at a pinned commit. Each category asks every project the same "how is X implemented?" questions; answers cite file and line ranges, citations are checked mechanically, and an editor compares the projects in a verdict. Last built 2026-10-06. ## For agents - When to use this site: comparing open-source LLM tooling by *how it is implemented* (architecture, auth, page perception, crawling, RAG, etc.), with code citations you can follow. - Every HTML page has a markdown twin: append `index.md` to any page URL ending in `/`, or send `Accept: text/markdown`. - Structured data: read-only JSON API at https://llms-technical-reviews.com/api/v1/ (spec: https://llms-technical-reviews.com/openapi.json). No authentication, no API key. - MCP server (read-only, Streamable HTTP): https://llms-technical-reviews.com/mcp — tools to list categories/projects, fetch answers and search. - Everything in one file: https://llms-technical-reviews.com/llms-full.txt. Usage notes for agents: https://llms-technical-reviews.com/AGENTS.md. - Answers are machine-drafted and editor-checked; prefer quoting with the citation link. Content is free to use with attribution. ## Categories - [Open-source personal assistants](https://llms-technical-reviews.com/personal-assistants/index.md): Self-hostable AI assistants that act on your mail, calendar, docs and chat on your behalf.
